چکیده
A highly accurate SPH method with a new stabilization paradigm has been introduced by the authors in recent paper aimed to solve Euler equations for ideal gases. We present here extension of viscous incompressible flow. Incompressibility is tackled assuming weakly compressible approach. The adopts SPH-ALE framework and improves accuracy taking high-order variable reconstruction Riemann states at midpoints between interacting particles. moving least squares technique used estimate derivatives required Taylor approximations convective fluxes, also provides needed discretize flux terms. Stability preserved implementing posteriori Multi-dimensional Optimal Order Detection (MOOD) procedure thus avoiding utilization any slope/flux limiter or artificial viscosity. capabilities are illustrated solving one- two-dimensional problems benchmark cases. proposed methodology shows improvements does not require parameter calibration. In addition, extended solution flow results validated analytical Taylor–Green, Couette Poiseuille flows, lid-driven cavity test

A New High Resolution Scheme for Compressible Viscous Flow with Shocks
A new flux splitting and limiting technique which yields one-point stationary shock capturing is presented. The technique is applied to the full NavierStokes and Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Calculations of laminar boundary layers at subsonic and supersonic speeds are presented together with calculations of transonic flows around airfoils. The results exhibit very good agreement w...
متن کاملWeakly-compressible SPH and Experimental modeling of periodic wave breaking on a plane slope
Breaking waves have ability to transport large quantities of sediment and significant impact on coastal structures morphology. Hence, modeling of wave breaking is an important subject in coastal and marine engineering. In this research, the periodic wave breaking process on a plane slope is studied experimentally and numerically. Laboratory experiments were conducted to record water surface ele...
متن کاملdirect numerical simulation of supersonic and transonic compressible viscous flow by kinetic energy preserving scheme
present paper investigates the numerical solution of two-dimensional unsteady compressible navier-stokes equations by a new scheme based on the finite volume method. kinetic energy preserving (kep) scheme is introduced for solving the supersonic and transonic external compressible flow field on very fine grids (with a number of cells of the order of the reynolds number) without artificial dissi...
متن کاملGuaranteed a Posteriori Error Estimates for Viscous Flow Problems
In the talk, we discuss a posteriori error estimates for elliptic and parabolic viscous flow problems and give an overview of the results obtained in this field with the help of a new (functional) approach that was earlier applied to many problems in mathematical physics. This method provides guaranteed and computable error bounds that do not involve mesh dependent constants and are valid for a...
متن کاملA comparative study of truly incompressible and weakly compressible SPH methods for free surface incompressible flows
In this paper, the performance of the incompressible SPH (ISPH) method and an improved weakly compressible SPH (IWCSPH) method for free surface incompressible flows are compared and analyzed. In both methods, the Navier–Stokes equations are solved, and no artificial viscosity is used. The ISPH algorithm in this paper is based on the classical SPH projection method with common treatments on soli...
